MGTO and Industry Partners Work Together to Promote Macau Tourism in Hong Kong

The 'Go Macau - Port a Port' campaign co-organised by TurboJET and Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) has started. Activities include the launch of Portuguese-themed travel packages, games with prizes, and photography and short film competitions. TurboJET staff will serve Portuguese menus and products onboard wearing traditional Portuguese costumes.

Guangdong and Macau Jointly Promote Multi-destination Travel in Singapore and Malaysia

Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) in conjunction with the tourism administrations of Guangdong Province, the cities of Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Shaoguan, along with the travel trade - a total of 60 representatives - travelled to Malaysia and Singapore for a 'Guangdong and Macau Sales Mission', held on 7th and 9th July, respectively. PRC Passport Holders’ Transit Stay Extended

To fit the strategy of 'One Belt, One Road' to attract more visitors using Macau International Airport as a transit point for their journeys, the Public Security Police Force (CPSP) announced that effective 1st July they would relax the restrictions on transit visitors travelling on Chinese passports. The transit stay period has thus been extended from 5 days to 7 days.

Jao Tsung-I Academy Unveiled

In order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the inscription of 'The Historic Centre of Macau' on the World Heritage List, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has added several new - and in some cases renovated - historic and cultural facilities. Four Telecommunications Companies Granted 4G Licence for 8 years
