Macao Museum Hosts First Children’s Experience Exhibition

The Story of Cannon-Making - Children's Experience Exhibition, organized by the Macao Museum, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) - opened to the public on 25th March - runs to 20th August on the third floor of the Macao Museum. The process of experiencing various games in the exhibition seeks to inspire and encourage children to learn about the history of Macao, shaping the Museum as another important learning place for children.

The exhibition includes six distinctive educational game areas; namely, 'Thumbing through Interesting History', 'Seeking Fortresses', 'Making Cannonballs', 'Experiencing the Sensation of the Battlefield', 'Exploring the Cannon-making Process' and 'Fortress Sensation of the Present and the Past'. Bedecked with colourful decorations, the exhibition provides an interesting learning environment for children aged 3 to 8.
