The fourth quarter of the year is the peak season for travelling to Macao, encouraged by a number of festivals and events taking place throughout the city. During the seminar, a special topic - 'Importance of Digital Marketing and Maximizing Multi-Destination Sales' - will be conducted by a Taylor's University speaker in order to provide training to travel partners, and maximize sales of multi-destination products via effective distribution channels.

From 26th to 29th October, MGTO Malaysia will organize 'Wonders of Autumn' in Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Kuala Lumpur, with its booth decorated with a Wonders of Autumn theme and 'Experience Macao Your Own Style' to highlight the 17th Macao Food Festival, Suncity Group 64th Macau Grand Prix, Macao International Marathon, Macao Light Festival, Parade Through Macao, Latin City, and the 2nd International Film Festival and Awards - Macao.

From 31st October to 5th November 'Experience Macao' and Macao Mega Sale roadshow moves to Johor Bahru, the third largest city in Malaysia, offering packages, games and social media contests to promote Macao's events and festivals. Pre-roadshow, MGTO will promote the event via print advertising, social media, radio and outdoor advertisements.

With Malaysia's first Mass Rapid Transit Sungai Buloh to Kajang in operation, MGTO Malaysia will advertise on the in-train top panel and wall panel to reach new heights, enhance visibility and increase exposure to the Destination of Macao. A total of 96 in-train top panel and wall panel units will feature Macao's major events and festivals, shopping, new attractions and food from October to December this year.

In addition, during the October period, MGTO Malaysia will advertise on 15 digital screens at Express Rail Link (ERL), 18 digital screens in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Transit and digital posters on ERL platform to promote Macao tourism information.

Taiwan Region

MGTO will organize an 'Experience Macao Your Own Style' roadshow in Taipei Station from 13th to 19th October, which will include a series of interactive games, including a virtual reality (VR) experience of the aerial view from Macau Tower, Macau Grand Prix Guia Circuit simulator as well as Macao cuisine tasting challenge and foretaste. The roadshow will utilise LED transparent screen to showcase The Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square and other major attractions, as well as the light effects illuminating the Macao Light Festival. The stage performances blend Macanese and Portuguese influences, showcasing the festive atmosphere of Macao, with special features including Galo de Barcelos (Roster of Barcelos), interactive juggling and so forth, enabling spectators to submerge themselves in the dynamic culture of the city. Tour packages and products will also be sold during the roadshow.
