Invested in and constructed by Lok Fu Enterprise Holdings Limited (Lok Fu), the IFU Hotel - located at no.8 to 14 Rua do Bispo Enes (opposite Ponte 16 Resort Macau) officially opened on 7th February. The MOP200 million, seven storey boutique hotel features a basement restaurant, ground floor lobby, and five floors housing 41 guestrooms.

Themed around the five elements of nature - earth, metal, water, wood and fire - the 'fire' floor is reserved exclusively for female guests. Each floor reflects its theme via special colouring and wallpapers plus various natural essential oils designed to deliver unique and healthy experiences for guests.

The Director of Lok Fu, Si Fong Un, remarked that the company expected to develop more 2-star hotels of 150 rooms in the next step, with a final target of providing around 300 to 500 2-star hotel rooms in the future. The company seeks to provide 4-star hotel services at 2-star hotel prices, enabling tourists to embrace a new hotel experience in Macao.
