A traditional peak tourism season, December is just bursting with activities, with the 3rd International Film Festival & Awards.Macao, Macao International Marathon, 2018 Macao International Parade and 2018 Macao Light Festival piling on the fun and surprises for residents and visitors alike. Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has organised multiple activities, including in Malaysia and Hong Kong (in chronological order) to promote these events to attract more visitors to Macao.

Malaysia

MGTO Malaysia will engage Malaysian social influencers Kyo and Akwa to film a web series video introducing their 'brocation' activities in Macao, featuring adventure and nature activities throughout the territory. The production team will film in the city from 1st to 5th December, in addition to which Jyo and Akwa will share their Macao travel experiences on their social media platform.

MGTO Malaysia's collaboration with Prestige Vacation offers thematic travel package 'Macao. A date with Jason' from 10th to 13th December, with well known Host, VJ and blogger Jason sharing Macao experiences like the Macao Light Festival. The travel package offers a special fare and programme to visitors including DIY Portuguese Egg Tart workshop and Portuguese cuisine.

Hong Kong

MGTO Hong Kong has organised a 'Friends of Macao Gathering' at Hyatt Regency Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui for 7th December, reaching out to potential travel agents whilst extending its appreciation to MGTO's trade partners in Hong Kong. The event serves as an effective platform for representatives from Hong Kong and Macao to communicate and exchange ideas on 2019 sales plans in a casual atmosphere.

In addition to providing this convenient networking platform between MGTO and representatives from various businesses with incentive travel potential, MGTO Hong Kong will host a Networking Cocktail Reception for the incentive sector on 13th December, to be attended by more than a hundred corporate guests, event organisers and Macao counterparts.

Meanwhile, a product update luncheon - slated for 18th December for members of the Travel Industry Council (TIC) of Hong Kong - seeks to establish a closer relationship with TIC members and enhance their knowledge of Macao tourism.
