Art Macao: International Youth Dance Festival 2019

International Youth Dance Festival 2019 ‘Marvellous Dance for the 20^th Anniversary of Macao’s Return to the Motherland’, another in the host of Art Macao activities, will be held from 20^th to 25^th July, in which 26 groups from Macao and around the world will perform in a variety of venues; namely, the Ruins of St. Paul’s, St. Dominic’s Square, Senado Square, Macao Forum, Anim’Arte NAM VAN, and Zheng Guanying Public School.

To celebrate the 70^th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR, the International Youth Dance Festival 2019 has invited young people from countries and regions along the Belt and Road to perform in Macao.

Some 16 teams from the Philippines, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Russia, Singapore, and from Mainland China Guizhou, Taiwan region, and Hong Kong SAR, join 10 teams from Macao. This event, promoting exchanges among the different groups of youths, provides opportunities for them to learn and showcase their artistic abilities, establishing a platform for friendship and mutual cultural respect.

Inaugurated in 1987, the Festival celebrates its 17^th edition this year, with more than 40 countries and regions performing in Macao over the years. For more information, please visit: www.artmacao.mo.
