Sands China Ltd. is currently re-imagining its Sands Cotai Central integrated resort complex into The Londoner Macao, which is slated to progressively open throughout 2020 and 2021. The new all-suite The Londoner Hotel Macao (previously Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central) will provide 594 rooms, with two floors of bespoke suites designed in association with Sands’ global ambassador David Beckham. The suites represent his first foray into this design field.

The Londoner Macao has been designed to evoke the excitement and charm of the Victorian era, with the exterior facade modelled on the iconic Palace of Westminster and Houses of Parliament, complete with 96-metre Elizabeth Tower and spectacular clock face. The Crystal Palace will house a palatial light-filled atrium modelled on Claridge’s of London and the Palace Hotel, exemplifying the best of Victorian design and construction in glass and iron. Moving into the lobby guests will find a stately and refined space inspired by the contemporary formal drawing rooms of glamorous British manor houses.

Visitors to The Londoner Macao will also be able to enjoy fully immersive VR, British-themed Streetmosphere shows such as the famous ‘Changing of the Guards’ as well as daily retail parades featuring iconic characters from British history, culture and literature.

The Londoner Macao will feature four world-class hotel brands in one location - which apart from The Londoner Hotel Macao include Conrad Macao, Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel and The St. Regis Macao, currently part of Sands Cotai Central, offering over 6000 hotel rooms and suites, 34300 square metres of meeting and convention space, over 200 stores and shops, more than 20 dining options, 13 ballrooms, six meeting rooms, four health clubs, three spas, and the state of the art Londoner Macao Arena, providing 6000 seats. The Arena also offers the flexibility of accommodating everything from live entertainment to popular sporting events and corporate meetings.
