Miss Macau 2019 to be Crowned Mid-August

Following a ten-year hiatus, Miss Macau is back. Organised by Macau Pageant Alliance, the grand finale of Miss Macau 2019 will be held on 13^th August in The Venetian Macao Cotai Arena when 12 shortlisted candidates will vie for the crown of Miss Macau - with First runner-up, Second runner-up, Miss Friendship and Miss Photogenic accolades also up for grabs.

Themed ‘Celebrate the Genuine Beauty of Macau’, the candidates, in numerical order, are Nora Gu, Crystal Wong, Emily Chan, Emily Yau , Bobo Leong, Romi Wang, Kayii Lei, Jocelina Law, Dinelle Wong, Yammie Loi, Angelica and Amber Ng, all of whom will receive one month’s intensive training in make-up, etiquette, personal image, dress code, interpersonal communication, catwalk and performances coached by invited experts.

Outdoor shoots are also scheduled for the candidates in multiple scenic spots around Macao in order to showcase local culture, tourism and more, as well as in Da Nang, Vietnam. In addition, the outfits of the contenders for the grand finale will be created by local fashion designers.

Meanwhile, local residents are encouraged to vote now for their choice of Miss Macau 2019 - Miss Photogenic at www.mpamacau.com(Chinese only). Voting closes at 11:59:59pm on 12^th August 2019.
