As part of its ongoing initiative to build the territory into a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) has launched an international public tender, inviting duly qualified respondents to submit proposals for the ‘Macau Tourism Industry Development Master Plan Service Provision’.

With the master plan initiated in 2015, MGTO will construct an overall strategy for the short, medium and long term development of the tourism industry, formulating a comprehensive and integrated work scheme. Practical tasks to be addressed will include an analysis of Macau tourism’s development, the formulation of development goals and strategies for the tourism industry, the study of tourism products, destination promotion and co-ordinated systems for tourism development plus suggestions for plan implementation, among other considerations.

The deadline for tender submission is 2nd March 2015. Interested parties can visit Macau Tourism Industry Net: http://industry.macautourism.gov.mo for details of the tender invitation notice. They may also submit their enquiries on the tourism industry net up to 10 days before the deadline for tender submission. Relevant replies will be posted on the same website.
