Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is to hold its Annual Marketing Meeting (AMM) 2015 in Macau from 15th to 19th June, at which time MGTO's global market representatives will assemble in Macau to report on their achievements and discuss future marketing strategies. The Office also has a meeting lined up with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) on 19th June to discuss opportunities of enhancing co-operation and promoting multi-destination tours.
More than 50 MGTO market representatives and personnel will participate in MGTO's Annual Marketing Meeting in Macau for five consecutive days. On the first day of the meeting, MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes will update participants on Macau's latest tourism trends in tandem with the line-up of events planned for the second half of the year plus important breaking projects.
She will also outline the overarching marketing strategies MGTO wishes to implement in its source markets around the world, adjusted to local conditions as necessary, so that Macau's overall tourism offer is in concert with its primary goal of developing the territory into a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure. During the meeting, representatives will evaluate the results of their work over the past year, report their current work progress and discuss potential plans for next year.
During their stay, local travel trade partners will take the opportunity to introduce their upcoming projects, while market representatives will embark upon site inspections of the newest tourism spots and facilities in order to better promote the increasingly diverse tourism products of Macau.
