Love transcends all; even death, they say. Based on the 1990 Academy Award-winning movie, 'Ghost the Musical' is a West End and Broadway production, featuring a technologically advanced set complemented by a music score that projects the iconic power of 'Unchained Melody'. Nominated for five Olivier and three Tony Awards, Ghost has been voted the ninth best musical of all time. The production continues to take the world by storm, on tours that have sold over a million tickets in Europe, the U.S. and Asia, and now comes to the Macau Cultural Centre from 4th to 9th August.

Directed by Matthew Warchus, Choreographed by Ashley Wallen and musically supervised by Christopher Nightingale, Ghost puts the afterlife centre stage as a murdered man tries to warn his living love of the mortal danger she is in by enlisting the help of a kooky psychic played by Whoopi Goldberg in the motion picture that inspired the musical. One of the highlights of the show are the stunning stage effects blending cutting-edge technology with classic stage magic that brings New York, where the story is set, to stunning life.

Opening in London in 2011, the show made its way to Broadway in 2011, and has never looked back, taking theatres by storm around the world wherever it shows. Staged in English with Chinese subtitles, this show has to go on your summer list of things to do. Tickets are now on sale; for more details please visit: www.ccm.gov.mo/Event.aspx/Detail/6593
