Guangdong and Macau Branded Products Fair (GMBPF) - co-organized by Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province - will be held from 30th July to 2nd August at the Convention and Exhibition Centre of Macau Fisherman's Wharf. According to projections based on data collected from past editions, it is estimated that the number of admissions will exceed 100,000.

The Fair, now in its seventh year, and occupying a 6.000-square metre venue, will be divided into two distinct zones; namely, the Exhibition and Sales Area of Macau's Featured Products and the Exhibition and Sales Area of Guangdong Branded Products. In order to enable young entrepreneurs to create their own business, and to inject fresh impetus into the economic and industrial diversification of Macau, organizers have specially set up a Young Entrepreneurs' Exhibition Area to provide budding entrepreneurs with the opportunity to demonstrate their achievements and enhance their visibility, thus introducing more vitality into the Fair whilst attracting more young consumers.

Last year, the cooking demonstration - Celebrity Kitchen - achieved huge success. This year, popular cooking show host Maria Cordero has again been invited to not only demonstrate her cooking skills but interchange with the public to help promote Macau and Guangdong's branded products.

The Fair first ran in 2009. Last year, the four-day Fair supported 284 booths, with more than 135,000 visitors approaching the GMBPF and signing up to four co-operation projects.
