The star-spangled opening of Studio City will feature the world premiere of film short 'The Audition', starring Hollywood legends Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese. 'The Audition' has garnered global attention since the teaser trailer in January. The high-profile short was recently announced as one of the 'out of competition' films at the Venice Film Festival in September.

This short movie, created by Hollywood using Studio City as the backdrop of the story, has been selected for the Venice Film Festival as an exhibit movie.
