Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair in November

This year, the Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair will be hosted by Macau Fisherman’s Wharf

The 5th Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair will be held from 5th to 8th November at Macau Fisherman's Wharf, with some 50 yacht brands participating in an exhibition area occupying nearly 30,000 square metres, in tandem with related events such as a forum, fashion show and regatta.

This year, the event - themed 'Distinguished Gathering' - will feature different aspects of sailing boats, powerboats, speedboats, travel and tenancy, water activities, high-end lifestyle and related services. World-renowned brands such as Starship, Sunseeker, Heysea, Accelera, Omnia, CPM and other yachts - 40 in all - will participate. Mainland brand JP Group will also debut. An ancient Chinese junk manufactured by the old shipyard manufacturer on Coloane Island will also feature.

In addition, the yacht industry exhibition will hold the first (Macau) 'One Belt, One Road' high-level meeting of the forum. The meeting will discuss the development of domestic and overseas markets, promoting the free exercise of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan yacht marine leisure sports promotion and other topics from the perspective of the yacht industry in Macau.

Furthermore, the assembly will hold a large maritime silk fashion show to exhibit 72 costumes themed, appropriately, around 'Nautical Spirit', 'Silk Road' and 'Riverdance'. It will also hold a bikini silk fashion show to exhibit nearly one hundred winning photos of the large undersea world. On 7th and 8th November, the first teenager regatta race will be held, in which participants from Hong Kong, Macau and the Mainland will battle it out in a round-robin competition for two days. Residents and visitors are welcome to watch from Macau Fisherman's Wharf.
