The Parisian Macao, MGM COTAI and Other New Projects Expected to be Completed by 2016

MGM Cotai is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016

Sands China Ltd. has submitted an application to the Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) for a deadline extension to complete The Parisian Macao, which is believed will be completed by the second half of 2016. It is the first planned Cotai project whose completion has been postponed. Meanwhile, MGM China has announced that it plans to open its resort on the Cotai Strip in the fourth quarter of next year as scheduled.

The Parisian Macao - initially slated to open at the end of 2015 - has now received approval from the Macau Government, says Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVSC) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon Adelson, and will open 12 months later.

Grant R. Bowie, the Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director of MGM China emphasised that the schedule of new projects had not slowed down, and hoped that MGM Cotai could be completed as soon as possible in order to increase non-gaming elements and attract more visitors. The project is expected to be completed on schedule.
