This year, a new area titled 'Korean Village' will be set up on the lower floor of Sai Van Lake Square.

The 15th Macau Food Festival is held by the United Association of Food and Beverage Merchants of Macau and supported by the Macau Government Tourist Office, Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) and Macau Foundation.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the organizer will present a series of activities and performances for every single night, including themed nights, beer drinking contests, games, dances, cultural performances, singers and bands, magic performances, and much more. Throughout the Festival shuttle bus runs and number of mobile toilets will be increased to cater for the expected surge of visitors to this popular outdoor event.

In keeping with Macau's increasing environmental sensitivity, the DSPA will promote recyclable cutlery during the Festival in addition to reinforcing environmental protection awareness for the general public and tourists by putting up posters and broadcasting publicity messages.
