This year also marks the 10th Anniversary of the inscription of The Historic Centre of Macao on the UNESCO World Heritage List, thus the 2015 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon and 2015 Parade through Macao Latin City will be held on the same day to maximize the synergy of these mega events. The marathon course will pass by A-ma Temple and the University of Macau Hengqin Campus in order to enable athletes to experience Macau's unique combination of tourism, culture and sport.

The 2015 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon kicks off from the Olympic Sport Centre Stadium in Taipa on 6th December at 6:00am. Athletes will be given souvenirs of The Historic Centre of Macao and will also be invited to attend the Parade through Macau, Latin City in the afternoon of that day. They can even participate in a mobile phone game, upload their selfies and impressions in the Parade and join the lucky draw, with prizes of over MOP40,000 up for grabs. Prizes include superior hotel suite accommodation with buffet breakfast, massage treatments and movie tickets.

The 2015 Parade through Macao, Latin City starts at the Ruins of St. Paul's on 6th December at 4:00pm, where international artistes plus home-grown talent will use Macau's World Heritage as the major theme. The Parade will pass through the narrow lanes of Macau, and culminate in a grand performance in Tap Seac Square to provide a unique insight into Macau's multiple cultural identities.
