The Suncity Group 62nd Macau Grand Prix was successfully held from 19th to 22nd November, during which some 228 competitors - including 49 Macau drivers - competed from 31 countries and regions in a smorgasbord of exciting four and two-wheeled races.

Headline events included the FIA F3 Intercontinental Cup won by Swede Felix Rosenqvist, who became only the second driver to win the event in consecutive years; the 49th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix won by Briton Peter Hickman, a relative novice on the Macau track; the FIA GT World Cup won by German Maro Engel; and Macau Guia Race 2.0T won by Swiss driver Stefano Comini, who said: “I have no words to explain. It's really something special to win the championship [inaugural TCR title] and to win Macau. To do both together is just wow!"

The remaining four support races comprised the Macau Touring Car Cup, Macau Road Sport Challenge, Chinese Racing Cup and Lotus Celebrity Cup Race.

This year, the FIA F3 Intercontinental Cup completed its 33rd edition, attracting 28 competitors from 18 countries and regions. Finally, Swiss ace Felix Rosenqvist clinched the FIA F3 Intercontinental Cup Championship again in the time of 36 minutes 25 seconds.

The Macau Grand Prix attracted some 80,000 residents and visitors to the races, with control of the event passing next year to the Macau Sport Development Board.
