Macao Government Tourism Office launched 'Macao Tourism Data plus' at the end of November, in which it offered interactive data, tourism statistics tables, E-publications, distribution maps of visitor source markets, as well as a tourism situation video. Users can also check the indices for fundamental data enquiries such as total visitor arrivals, source markets, modes of transport, average length of stay, and average length of stay for hotel overnight guests.

Users can choose to study the trends of each visitor source market or make a comparative analysis, view visitor arrivals in the form of a map, generate bar charts, line charts or pie charts or statistics tables according to preference. They can also choose to export the statistics via graphics, PDF or data file formats. Among the functions, 'Interactive Data' provides a personalized experience for users, who can acquire data according to personal request and view charts displayed as interactive graphics. This service is for users from various sectors to easily and conveniently collect a broad range of tourism statistics. This service launch is in line with the MSAR Government's development towards electronic administration and information transparency.
