Upon invitation from the World Tourism Organization, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Deputy Director Cecilia Tse will represent 'Macao, China' to attend the first meeting of the Working Group on the UNWTO Convention on Tourism Ethics as a member of the working group, which will be held on 25^th April in Madrid, Spain.

The Working Group on the UNWTO Convention on Tourism Ethics was established in the 21^st Session of the UNWTO General Assembly last year. The working group will examine in depth the procedures and implications of adopting such an international convention and revise the draft text of the Convention, which will be submitted for consideration by the General Assembly in 2017 (22^nd Session).

Through participating in the related work tasks, MGTO believes it will reinforce the participation of international tourism affairs of Macao.
