Hosted by The Venetian Macao from 17th to 19th May, Global Gaming Expo Asia 2016 (G2E Asia) has attracted over 180 exhibitors, a quarter of whom are participating in the event for the first time, while 80 per cent are from different countries and regions.

As the show enters its tenth year, the 'Macao Pavilion' will act as a showcase for Macao's gaming and entertainment achievements in addition to aiding Macao enterprises' exploration of business opportunities at home and abroad. During the event, G2E Asia will publish the Asian Gaming White Paper in order to deepen the industry's understanding of gaming trends in Asia Pacific, future trends in casino operations, the scope and conduct of players, as well as casino forecast. The exhibition is also hosting the All Asia Dealers Championship, bringing together operators, regulators, suppliers, government agencies and organizations in Asia, with dealer skills and achievements assessed and awarded.

The Asia Gaming Awards (AG Awards) - based on talent and potential from a selection of 18 young Asian gaming industry executives - will be judged in ten categories. These are Best Casino Operator, Best Integrated Resort, Best Casino Design, Best Table Games Manufacturer, Best Electronic Game Machine Manufacturer, Best Industry Supplier, Best Online Operator, Best Online Supplier, Best Mobile Solution, and Outstanding Contribution in the Field of 'Innovation'.

G2E Asia was the first major gaming show to be held in Macao in 2007. Last year, the exhibition welcomed 9,867 exhibition-goers from 79 countries and regions, along with 161 leading exhibitors from the industry. Compared with 2014, the total number of exhibition-goers increased 20 per cent, with 6,891 from outside Macao.
