Organized by Macao Government Tourism Office, supported by the China National Tourism Administration and co-ordinated by Macau Travel Agency Association, the 4^th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) is to be held from 2^nd to 4^th September in the Cotai Expo of The Venetian Macao this year.

MITE is dedicated to fostering external co-operation and exchange for members of the travel trade with a wealth of business opportunities in store for them, and to promoting Macao's tourism resources and products. The Expo can forge an exchange platform for members of the travel trade and other related sectors to facilitate new connections as it manifests Macao's competitive advantages in diverse aspects as an international travel destination whilst demonstrating the city's capability to host professional travel fairs.

The 6,500 square foot exhibition area will host 350 booths featuring six major elements; namely, food and beverages, accommodation, transportation, entertainment, travel and shopping. Moreover, it will offer tourism extension services, travel media, tourism e-business, tourism-related technologies and so forth. The Expo primarily targets exhibitors from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and the Taiwan region, as well as overseas travel agents, tourism bureaus, scenic spots, airlines, hotels, cruises and more.
