'Cook Up A Storm', the movie version of the popular TV food travelogue reality programme 'Chef Nic' starring Nicholas Tse, has successfully completed shooting in Studio City, the Hollywood-inspired, cinematically-themed resort. 'Cook Up A Storm' will be the first ever Chinese culinary-themed 4D movie, and features Studio City's iconic Golden Reel, the world's first and Asia's highest figure-of-8 Ferris wheel.

The movie stars Hong Kong celebrity Nicholas Tse and Korean pop icon Yong Hwa Jung, who play the roles of two talented chefs who coincidentally become the finalists of an important cooking contest. During the shoot, each of them had the opportunity to draw inspiration from the chefs of local Michelin-starred restaurants including from Chef Tam Kwok Fung, Director of Culinary Operations of Studio City, and Chef Guillaume Galliot, Chef de cuisine of The Tasting Room at City of Dreams. The integrated resort provided the ideal movie set and supporting facilities for the making of the movie.
