Acclaimed St. Petersburg Ballet to Perform Swan Lake at The Venetian

The world renowned Russian ballet troupe will perform three shows of 'St. Petersburg Ballet – Swan Lake' at The Venetian Theatre on 2nd and 3rd December. Following sold out seasons in London, Paris and Singapore, the epitome of ballet promises Macao audiences a performance that will last a lifetime.

First staged in St. Petersburg in 1895, Swan Lake is set to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's immortal score and is one of the most popular ballet productions in the world, telling the story of the young Prince Siegfried who falls deeply in love with the Swan Princess Odette, a young woman who has been transformed into a white swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart in a tale of true love conquering all.

Founded in 1994, the famed 60 member companies of St. Petersburg Ballet, led by prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova, continues to receive rave reviews around the world, thrilling audiences with its breathtaking scenery and magnificent costumes.
