MGM MACAU presents the 2016 Oktoberfest from 13^th to 23^rd October this year in The Vista II MGM, as well as introducing its first Family Friendly Special Day Time Oktoberfest between 11:00am and 3:00pm on 22^nd October featuring non-alcoholic beers and a range of beverages for families eager to enjoy an authentic German brunch in the festive blue and white tent with its traditional long tables.

Visitors can enjoy German Pork Knuckle, German sausage, Spaten, one of only six genuine Oktoberfest brews, and other special drinks and wheat beer whilst enjoying live performances of The Högl Fun Band from Munich and carnival game booths, filling the place with a traditional Bavarian party atmosphere. The band leader of Högl Fun Band has specially written a theme song 'Nei Hou, Macau!' (Hello, Macau) in tribute to the host city.

Established in Munich over 200 years ago, the event has transformed into one of the most influential annual beer festivals in the world. Since 2009, MGM MACAU has welcomed nearly 100,000 beer lovers with 96,606 litres of beer, 21,785 kilograms of pork knuckles, 9,696 roasted chickens and approximately 14,379 homemade pretzels!
