After two months of trials and continuous improvement, the Macao SAR Transport Bureau (DSAT) recently announced that tour buses may now allow passengers to alight on Rua de D. Belchior Carneiro every day from 8:00am to 6:00pm effective 1^st February. Visitors can board in the embarkation and disembarkation area for heavy passenger vehicles in the basement of Tap Siac Square. Rua de S. Roque, Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro and part of Rua do Volong are partially designated as pedestrian zones which vehicles are prohibited from entering from 8:30am to 6:00pm every day.

The prohibition of vehicles exceeding eight metres from entering Estrada do Cemitério via Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida will become a permanent measure in order to safeguard the safety of pedestrians and drivers, while part of Avenida Doutor Mário Soares, close to New Yaohan Department Store, will have its boarding and disembarkation zone for tourist bus passengers expanded.

Information on parking spaces available from the embarkation and disembarkation area in the basement of Tap Siac Square will be made available on the DSAT website (www.dsat.gov.mo/dsat/index.aspx) and Traffic Information Station mobile application from 7:30am to 7:00pm daily in order to facilitate the consultation of the professional sector and its parking plans as soon as possible.
