New Flights Announced: Sihanoukville-Macao and Taichung-Macao

The Opening Ceremony celebrates the inauguration of the route between Macao and Sihanoukville in Cambodia

Cambodia Angkor Air launched a route between Sihanoukville, Cambodia and Macao in March, with its 180-seater flight departing every Wednesday and Sunday. Tigerair Taiwan also launched routes between Taichung and Macao in March.

Sihanoukville - located near the sea with beautiful beaches and megaports - facilitates interchange to Cambodia Angkor Air flights between Sihanoukville to Siem Reap and its world cultural heritage, of Angkor Wat.

Tigerair Taiwan is the highest in market share and largest in passenger volume of airline companies from the Taiwan region. In 2016, the passenger volume of Tigerair Taiwan reached 141,000 passengers, accounting for more than 20 per cent of market share of the Taiwan region. According to Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. (CAM) passengers from the Taiwan region to Macao International Airport have increased 15 per cent since 2015. Currently, three airline companies from the Taiwan region fly between Macao and Taipei, Macao and Taichung and Macao and Kaohsiung, respectively.


Air Macao and Michelin-starred restaurants introduce Business Class airline meal

Air Macau has joined together with Michelin-starred restaurant Lai Heen and Michelin recommended restaurant The Ritz-Carlton Café in The Ritz-Carlton, Macao, preparing 30 different choices of dish, served to Business Class passengers on ten routes; namely, Macao to Beijing, Macao to Shanghai Pudong, Macao to Shanghai Hongqiao, Macao to Hangzhou, Macao to Nanjing, Macao to Chengdu, Macao to Ningbo, Macao to Seoul, Macao to Osaka, and Macao to Tokyo.
