Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) closed the Grand Prix Museum, the Wine Museum and the Tourism Activities Centre (Centro de Actividades Turísticas - CAT) on 1^st July in order to conduct preparation works ahead of the remodelling of the building to transform it into the new Macau Grand Prix themed museum.

MGTO plans to remodel the entire five-storey building of CAT into an expanded interactive, environmentally friendly, brand-new Macau Grand Prix themed museum, with many new attractions, while the Wine Museum will be relocated to Coloane.
