Macau CTS Hotel Management (International) Limited has launched a new online reservation platform providing functions such as hotel reservations and online payment, banquet-related information plus the latest news, membership rewards and product-related information.

At a ceremony launching the platform in January, Nam Kwong Group Chairman Fu Jianguo said that not only did Macao serve as a link between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, but that countries and regions covered in the 'Belt and Road' Initiative are also exposed to opportunities presented by the development of the 'Centre and Platform' policies.

He went on to say that Nam Kwong Group would support the Macao SAR Government in combining the advantages of the Internet and the city's unique geography to enhance the exchange and sharing of information between Macao, China, Hong Kong, the Portuguese-speaking countries and the world at large. He also said that the Nam Kwong Group would support the development of Macao as a world centre of tourism and leisure, while sharing the fruitful results of construction of a 'Smart City' with all Macao residents in order to enhance the healthy and sustainable development of the Macao SAR economy.

The General Manager of Macau CTS Hotel Management (International) Limited, Kenny Cheung, said that in order to complement the national strategy - via Internet Plus - and supporting the Macao SAR Government's objective of constructing a 'Smart City', their company would promote smart tourism, electronic bookings and comprehensive payment efforts within the industry, while vigorously advocating a platform that could be adopted by mobile devices. The current platform - built in 2017, and officially launched in 2018 - signifies an important milestone in the company's digitalization.

A memorandum of co-operation was also signed during the launch ceremony between Macau CTS Hotel Management (International) Limited and Singou Technology (Macau) Limited, affiliated to Macau University of Science and Technology, with the objective of enhancing artificial intelligence (AI) and robot technology in the hotel, F&B, and tourism fields.
