AACM Approves 183 Extra Flights for Summer Vacation Period

In order to meet the demand for travel during the summer holiday period Macao SAR Government Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) has approved a total of 183 extra flights from 1st July to 31st August, including 71 extra flights to Taipei, 62 to Kaohsiung, 33 to Danang and 17 to Osaka.

As airline companies often provide extra flights to meet the extra demand for travel during the peak season, AACM will complete the review and approval process of applications within a reasonable period. The number of approved extra summertime flights has increased 28.9 per cent compared to last year.


MIA Launches New Flights

Macau International Airport (MIA) has launched four new scheduled flights between Macao and Sanya, Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Siem Reap.

Hainan Airlines launched flights from Macao to Sanya on 9th July, with departures on the new route scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. Meanwhile, Cambodia Airways has launched three new flights. Starting from 21st July, daily flights have been operating between Macao and Siem Reap, with a flight between Macao and Sihanoukville departing Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights between Macao and Phnom Penh departing Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays started from 22nd July.
