Macao Welcomes 2nd Michelin Guide Street Food Festival

The second annual Michelin Guide Street Food Festival Macau - held from 29th September to 2nd October on Studio City's Macau Gourmet Walk - features some of the biggest names in street food as well as one of the only Michelin-starred hawker stalls in the world.

This year, Asia's tempting street food stalls present the best Asian street tastes imaginable, including Liao Fan Hawker Chan's Soya Sauce Chicken Rice from Singapore - the first in the world to earn a coveted Michelin star for street food - and the most affordable Michelin-star meal available anywhere! Other eateries from Singapore are The Song of India and Keng Eng Kee Seafood, recommended by the Michelin Guide as The Plate Michelin. Meanwhile, A Nan Sesame Chicken from Taiwan region specialises in a Sesame Oil Chicken Noodle Soup, honoured with a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand recommendation.

Huen Lamphun (Suan Phak) and Soul Food Mahanakorn from Bangkok - recommended by Michelin Guide as The Plate Michelin and honoured with the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand recommendation, respectively - present Thai Khao Soi Kai, Penang Curry with Beef Brisket, and other mouth-watering delights.

One-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant Pearl Dragon offers an exquisite dining experience at Studio City, presenting deep-fried king prawns stuffed with minced bamboo shrimp in sweet & sour sauce as well as a sweet dish plus a chilled bird's nest with red bean paste in organic pumpkin, while Bi Ying, recommended by Michelin Guide as The Plate Michelin, offers a delectable culinary journey through Northern and Southern China, highlighting provincial favourites including wood-roasted dishes.

The Michelin Guide Street Food Festival serves up from 11:00am to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, admission free, with dishes priced from MOP40 to MOP60 and redeemed via cash coupons.
