The Suncity Group 66th Macau Grand Prix - trackside from 14th to 17th November - will feature FIA F3 World Cup cars used in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for the first time, while the tortuous 6.2km Guia Circuit will be upgraded to an FIA Grade II homologated track. The FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) is the governing body of motor sport around the world.

Following the recommendations of the FIA, based in part upon extensive computer simulations, upgrades will be undertaken at the Reservoir, Mandarin Oriental Bend, Lisboa Bend, Guia Hill areas and ‘R’ Bend. Initiatives include increasing the buffer zone at Lisboa Bend, and additional impact protection foam and new safety crash barriers at various points around the circuit. In addition, electronic flags will be implemented this year to supplement manual flag signals.

Admission prices range from MOP50 for practice days to MOP400 to MOP1000 on race days, depending upon grandstand. For further information please visit the official Macau Grand Prix website at www.macau.grandprix.gov.mo.
