The 19th Macao Food Festival will be held in Sai Van Lake Square from 8th to 24th November. Themed with ‘Celebration of 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region with World Gourmet’, the Food Festival is decorated in colourful bricks and blocks with almost 140 well-known food industry exhibitors. The upper level of Sai Van Lake Square will be divided into five gourmet streets with different themes, enabling residents and visitors to enjoy traditional dim sum, taste European cuisine in a themed gourmet street, enjoy refreshing dessert, or take a bite of exotic in Asian Delicacies Zone and Local Delicacies Zone. The lower level of Sai Van Lake Square will be transformed into a ‘Hokkaido Village’, with 21 food stalls waiting for every discerning gourmet to explore.

To further facilitate residents and visitors during the Food Festival, electronic payment will be fully implemented on the site. In addition to UnionPay e-Wallet Card, QuickPass, UnionPay Credit Card, Visa, MasterCard, and WeChat Pay, BoC Pay, Alipay, MPay, and Macau Pass are available this year as alternatives of electronic payment. Value-added and refund services are also available at the customer service desk. Apart from gastronomy, stall games and performances will also be set up during the Food Festival to enhance the festive atmosphere.

The Festival - which welcomes visitors from 5:00pm to 11:00pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 3:00pm to midnight from Friday to Sunday - offers a complimentary shuttle bus service for festival-goers between Sai Van Lake Square and the Border Gate, Luso Bank in Nam Van, Rua de Mercado da Areia Preta (opposite Iao Hon Market), and near Taipa Central Park.
