PATA Dream to Travel Festival to feature Macao

The four-week long PATA Dream to Travel Festival will feature Macao

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has launched the Dream to Travel Festival, an online event that brings together travel trade businesses worldwide to learn, network, and propagate the power of travel during these challenging times. The virtual event spans over a total of four weeks, from 22 June to 17 July, featuring a different tourist destination each week, with Macao being the showcase destination of the final week.

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), being one of the destination partners of the Dream to Travel Festival, will showcase Macao with a fun-filled program throughout 13 to 17 July. MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes will join CEO of PATA, Mario Hardy, Senior Expert on Innovation and Digital Transformation of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Natalia Bayona, and Presenter of BBC’s The Travel Show, Carmen Roberts in the Dream to Travel Forum themed “Infinite Possibilities”, discussing about the tourism industry’s focus on innovation, progress, and possibilities.

MGTO will guide participants on a virtual tour of the city through a series of Live Experience sessions, adding to the fun with games and giveaway sessions. Meanwhile, businesses interested in learning the tourism offerings of Macao are welcome to visit the online Digital Showroom, where exhibitors and visitors are encouraged to connect.

To provide a platform for the travel trade community to gain new insights, meet experts, and showcase products from all over the Asia Pacific region and beyond, PATA launched the Dream to Travel Festival that runs for four weeks, with each week of the festival dedicated to a specific theme – Trust, Courage, Wellbeing and Infinite Possibilities – and to a specific destination. The four destinations include Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal and Macao. Access to the Dream to Travel Festival is free. For registration and more information, please visit http://dreamtotravel.pata.org
