Tap Seac Craft Market returns, featuring handicraft workshops

Tap Seac Square is the home to the craft market

The Tap Seac Craft Market is scheduled to return across two weekends, from 20 to 22 November and 27 to 29 November, with stalls from some of Macao’s most creative crafters and handicraft workshops.

Organised by the Macao SAR Government Cultural Affairs Bureau, the market in Tap Seac Square will feature 36 creative handicrafts workshops, including 10 sessions that are designed for family participation.

Since 2008, the craft market has been held twice a year in spring and autumn; however, this year’s spring edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The creative showcase is a major cultural event that attracts leading talents. The market is a destination for anyone interested in the city’s cultural sector.

Tap Seac Craft Market will go ahead with organisers paying strict attention to health measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Cultural Affairs Bureau says it will continue to pay close attention to the development of the pandemic, follow the relevant guidelines set down by the Macao SAR Government Health Bureau, and make appropriate arrangements for the activities.

The market is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. More information is available at the event’s website at http://www.craftmarket.gov.mo.
