The first ferry linking Barra pier, near A-Ma Temple in Macao, and the Coloane village pier set sail on 1 July, on a route that offers sightseers a new leisure experience.
The Barra pier was inaugurated in March. Ferry operator Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Co. Ltd. is sailing the route.
The Macau Cruise product combines sightseeing by sea and land. The cruise operator is running the new route seven times a day, from Thursday to Sunday, as part of its Macau Cruise travel experience.
A one-way trip takes about 20 minutes and costs MOP60. Tickets may be booked in advance online at www.macaucruise.com.
Passengers on the new route should wear a protective face mask throughout the trip, or they may be denied entry.
