To commemorate the 70^th anniversary of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War, China's State Council has announced that 3^rd September, 2015 will be an official national holiday. Beijing has also adjusted the original holiday of 6^th September (Sunday) to 4^th September (Friday) thus the 3^rd to 5^th September will comprise a mini 'Golden Week' holiday. The Macau SAR and Hong Kong SAR Governments have also declared 3^rd September a public holiday this year.
