The sun has got his hat on, and the temperature is warming up nicely, with Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) participating, as ever, in a packed schedule of activities in Taiwan region, Hong Kong and Malaysia (in chronological order), welcoming visitors from around the world to experience Summery Macao.

Taiwan region

The MGTO PR Consultant for the Taiwan region will attend two travel fairs this month - Kaohsiung Travel Fair and Taoyuan International Travel Fair, from 8th to 11th June and 22nd to 25th June, respectively - in order to spread the word to travel agencies promoting and selling Macao travel packages onsite.

From 8th to 14th June, MGTO's PR Consultant for the Taiwan region will also organise a '2018 Experience Macao Your Own Style Roadshow' in CityLink, Nangang. The roadshow will be filled with characteristic and festive decorations plus family-oriented interactive activities and facilities, encouraging tourists from the Taiwan region to taste the unique charisma of Macao as well as helping them create their own itinerary in the city.

Hong Kong

MGTO is participating in the 32nd Hong Kong International Travel Expo (ITE) from 14th to 17th June, a mega event featuring around 40 Macao trade representatives from hotels, travel agents, ferry companies and event organisers. MGTO will host two seminars during the consumer days - on 16th and 17th June - introducing '2018 Macao Year of Gastronomy', Summer events and upcoming festivals. During the two seminars, MGTO will co-operate with three travel agents to provide exclusive discounted travel packages in order to attract more ITE visitors to Macao.

By way of promoting Macao as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, '2018 Macao Year of Gastronomy', Summer activities, and other upcoming mega events in Macao, MGTO will roll out the 'Experience Macao Gourmet Style' Roadshow in the Star Atrium of Hollywood Plaza from 30th June to 2nd July, featuring busking, trade partner sharing, and Macanese cooking demonstrations. On 1st and 2nd July, MGTO will co-operate with six travel agents to provide travel packages specifically designed to attract Hong Kong visitors to Macao.

Malaysia

MGTO Malaysia will co-operate with IOI City Mall to run 'A season of Shared Happiness' Parent Day Campaign to promote Macao as a family friendly destination. Throughout the Spend & Travel Buyers' Contest, 'Throwback Smiles' social media contest and 'My Super Family Challenge', participants get a chance to win a holiday to Macao. During this campaign, Macao will be promoted via IOI City Mall interior, outdoor advertising, social media and newsletter.
