Melco Launches Macao’s First E-sports Arena

Co-launched by Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd., with Kowloon E-Stadium Ltd. and ALL-IN E-Sports Ltd., Macau EStadium - Macao's first E-sports venue - had its grand opening on 31st July, promising a series of E-sports events for the coming year.

The Macau EStadium - a high-performance event space featuring 274 seats, cutting-edge advanced technology catering to top-tier E-sports tournaments, multiplayer gaming tournaments as well as live-streaming of international E-sports events, and live broadcast with Mandarin and Cantonese narration - is confidently expected to fulfil the requirements of world class E-sports competitions and virtual gaming for professional gamers.

E-sports has become a global phenomenon that particularly appeals to younger players. Chinese players account for over half of global E-sports games, with virtual gaming growing in popularity throughout Asia. Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd. believes that the Macau EStadium will attract a younger generation of players and fans to Macao, further promoting Macao as a diversified entertainment destination.
