AirAsia Launches Macao-Boracay Flight

AirAsia is to launch a direct flight from Macao to Boracay in the Philippines on 2^nd March, departing Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The new flight is the third flight the airline has launched between Macao and the Philippines, after Cebu and Kalibo.

AirAsia Hong Kong and Macao CEO Celia Lao Sio Wun said Boracay is considered the best tourist destination in the Philippines, while its beaches have also been hailed as among the region’s best. Meanwhile, the Philippines is one of the top ten tourist source markets of Macao, underscoring the need for transportation between both locations. She believes that the new route can be a driving force for the tourism industry of both territories.
