The Central Government recently bequeathed giant pandas 'Yalin' and 'Shu Rong' - renamed 'Kai Kai' and 'Xin Xin' - to Macau. Having been quarantined for a month, they did not display any abnormal reaction and were emotionally stable. It is believed that they have already adapted to the environment of Macau, and thus met the public on 1st June.

As that day was Children's Day, many parents brought their children to meet 'Kai Kai' and 'Xin Xin', with both adults and children excited to see the two pandas and photograph them.

Some residents have remarked that they hope the government can expand the pandas' territory, giving them more space to play - or even establish a panda theme park as an attractive place for children to relax in.
