MGTO continues to participate in travel fairs in the Taiwan region and support travel agencies in selling Macao travel products
MGTO Promotional Activities in January
Entering 2019, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) continues to promote Macao in Malaysia, Taiwan region, Hong Kong and the United States (in chronological order).
MGTO Malaysia will organise ‘Macao for Everyone’ & Mega Sale in MyTOWN Shopping Centre from 11th to 13th January through which it will introduce the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in addition to promoting major events and festivals throughout 2019 in Macao. Attractive packages including Macao & Pearl River Delta packages will be available at the event offered by two participating travel agents.
A series of pre-promotion shout-out campaigns will kick off via print advertisements, social media, radio and KOL engagement with leading media in Malaysia.
The MGTO PR Consultant for the Taiwan region will attend the Chiayi International Travel Fair from 11th to 14th January, supporting four travel agencies selling Macao travel packages and products onsite.
The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong will organise the third Greater Bay Area delegation from 16th to 18th January for Hong Kong travel agents. During the visit, delegates will visit Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhuhai and Macao as well as meeting and exchanging views with the local travel trade and inspecting tourist attractions. MGTO representatives will provide a product update for delegates on 18th January.
MGTO USA will attend TravMedia 2019 on 24th January, sharing updates from the destination with various media representatives to entice them to cover Macao.
